All of the kna priests and other clergy of distinction are doing what they are supposed to do and what they are allowed to do by Rome. DeleteFr. Mulavanal is trying to promote exogamy by organising and allowing such mixed retreats of the knas and nonknas under the label of 'knanaya' parishes. This will destroy endogamy and his own community. Such retreats could have been done under the SM parishes.
DeleteMulavanal is only a member of the Community and not its owner. It is the people who makes the Community. So he cannot do anything against the interests of the Community ie. against endogamy especially when he is put in charge of the ‘Knanaya’ region!
Blogger must be a tru kna. He is minding his business of trying to promote endogamy in knanaya. This is not against any priest or the clergy. Blogger's interest is only to save the Community.Those knanaya priests who are in charge of knanaya parishes have the legitimate duty to protect the interests of the community viz. endogamy.
Knanaya parishes are small knanaya Communities.
It is unlawful if Rome interferes in the endogamous membership of the Community after establishing parishes named 'knanaya'. If it cannot allow endogamy in knanaya parish community it could only withdraw the sanction and convert it into SM parish.
The mistake we make now is referring or calling the mixed knanaya parishes as ‘knanaya’! The knanaya priests in America and even our Bishop mention those mixed parishes wrongly as ‘knanaya’!!! This 'deliberate' mstake committed by the clergy is the biggest mistake that destroys KNANAYA.
If ENDOGAMY is the fundamental foundation of our existence, why do you feel that it needs to be promoted?? Just be proud of it and live on!! If that is something to be promoted and or defended, then you and I are living in oblivion! There is no point in abusing priests and bishops because they are doing what they are instructed to do by their superiors. If any one doesn't like what they do, all of us have the option NOT to attend that church. Still what good is it to you and me attending another church!! The guardians of the fundamental right of existence of kna community cannot be defended and upheld by the kna clergy, then my dear brothers and sisters, it is about time to think "why it cannot be defended"???Throwing stones is an easy thing to do, but faithfully defending our heritage seems to be very difficult. Have anyone wondered WHY???

Mutholam and other priests got you the church. You should have known what you were asking for. Now you got what you wanted, but do not like what you got, then ask carefully my friends!! You will get what you ask for, but you may not like the form or shape of what you get!!. Endogamous kna church outside Kottayam Proper is just a myth!! Almost 2 decades passed by trying to revise the Rome's directive so that we can get an endogamous church, last year we got it from Bishop Angadiath the watered down version of the endogamous church! May be keep asking for another 2 more decades and you may get another much diluted version of endogamous church!!
Deletewe dont abuse the priests or bishop if knanaya is not endangered in the knanaya parishes. Not attending the church alone doesn't solve the problem. As long as the parish is meant for and named after 'knannaya' the knas cannot simply leave the church. They have a bounden duty to protect the interest of the community in such parishes. The vicars too have that responsibiliy. Rome cannot define the membership of the knanaya community or of the parish as long as it is named 'knanaya'! More over you can see that churches have been made by the contributions made by the knas cheating them saying that it is nonly for knas.

When this is uploaded in this people those who cant make decisions for them-self then they will loose their Knanaya spirit and they feel that whatever their forfathers did was wrong . They some times feel that marring their wife/husband was a big mistake because they deserve a better life with out endogamy . It's all brainwashing man , reformatting by makeing some one guilty and fearfull for their death !

Now our superiors want to remove our family name from Knanaya to Syro . So now we can't blame fr mulavanal if he organize mixed retreat for his superiors .
